So, we are getting ready to move, and I have also been tidying up my hard disk. I've come across some interesting things, amongst them this "concept art" I have but a vague recollection of creating.
It appears to be for a film called "Jimmy Demono Destroys the (20th) Century" - I seem to remember just having the title in my mind, and certainly can't remember any sort of plot or idea beyond that.
Those of you who read my childhood epic The Longest Day, might enjoy this blast from my past: Bunking Off is a script that my friends and I wrote for a drama class when I was 15.
It tells the story of 5 men who are trapped together in a nuclear bunker when war breaks out. It is a harrowing tale of survival and... ah, bollocks - it was our attempt at a Red Dwarf style sitcom, complete with ripped off jokes. We didn't take drama classes very seriously - we had signed up for "radio/video production" and a teacher left so we got shifted to a drama class. We even added a scene where they play football so that we could play during rehearsals...
